While reading an article in Business Magazin featuring insights from “The Network Party” business gathering, I came across a series of useful business tips.

We are sharing them here:

  • Build a strong personal brand!
  • Understand that time is valuable and use it sparingly!
  • Imagination and optimism are the key ingredients of any start-up!
  • A business is like morning coffee. You can get it from a vending machine, but it’s cheap and everyone knows the recipe, or you can prepare it yourself and savor it with pleasure.
  • Keep your debts small. It will help you take risks.
  • Assumption is the mother of error.
  • In life, you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate.
  • In business, you succeed either through persistence or intelligence.
  • You rarely succeed through luck.
  • Don’t miss the opportunities that come your way, but don’t search for them desperately either.
  • If investing feels pleasant and comfortable, then it means it’s not profitable.
  • The final price doesn’t mean the final price.
  • A business is like a first date. You think about it in advance, you’re never quite ready, you tell everyone about it, and you hope the next one brings you fulfillment.
  • When you feel like everything is going well, check again. You might have overlooked something.
  • Obstacles and opportunities are the same thing! The approach makes the difference.
  • Everybody hates advertising. Let’s do entertainment!
  • To have a fulfilling life, you must do what you love and not let yourself be discouraged.

Negotiation
We should take advice from successful business people very seriously. Moreover, we should try to follow it. Most of these tips are common-sense rules for succeeding in a jungle where they have proven it is possible.

Find a mentor, a role model, to advise you; the feeling of having a guide is wonderful!
