The winter holidays are the perfect occasion to take stock of the year. That is exactly why we asked the accounting department to tell us how we fared financially.

The answer was encouraging: we are profitable again this year, so we can donate 20% of our corporate income tax! We have chosen to donate those 20% to the Inima Copiilor Association, just like last year.

Taking stock of this year, besides the good news from accounting, we also had plenty of good news regarding our evolution. This year has been a busy one for the MKOR team, one of changes and a new strategy. This year, the fourth for MKOR, was also a year of firsts in many respects. Here are a few milestones we are proud of:

We launched our first proprietary studies

You are probably already familiar with them: The Romanian Online Fashion Market Study, the first Study on Homeschooling in Romania, the analysis Social Enterprises from a consumer perspective and the Fashion Retail Market Study, conducted in several Bucharest malls.

Each of our proprietary studies can be downloaded for free from their dedicated pages or from the Proprietary Studies section. If you haven’t read them yet, we warmly invite you to take a look and send us your feedback to Corina Cimpoca, MKOR manager: [email protected]

For the beginning of 2017, we also have an ongoing study about the ideal job; if you haven’t filled it out yet, take a look and give us your opinion—it only takes 2 minutes to complete the survey.

What other studies do you think would be interesting for us to tackle next year? We look forward to your thoughts at the same email address!

We initiated a partnership with Wall-Street PRO

As part of the partnership with Wall-Street, MKOR periodically conducts market analyses, based on secondary data that we aggregate, validate, and interpret to provide new insights into macro-level opportunities across various markets.

So far, we have covered the analysis of Mineral Waters in Romania and the analysis of the Fashion Retail Market in Romania, respectively.

We would love for you to tell us what other analyses you would like to read—what would help you know more about your markets? We await your thoughts and ideas at [email protected]!

We were present at Business Days

We had the privilege of being invited to Business Days Cluj, represented by Corina Cimpoca.

At BDCluj, Corina spoke about Micro-Moments in the Digital Era and From Marketing to UX or From Quantitative to Qualitative (unrecorded session).

It was a good year. Let’s make it 20% better

2016 was a good year, in which we believe and hope that each of you can find at least 3 reasons for professional pride and joy.

If one of these is linked to a profitable year, congratulations! And if you don’t know about the option to redirect 20% of the corporate income tax to a noble cause, then find out that until the end of the year you can ask the accountant for what amount you can offer a sponsorship that will be deducted directly from this year’s corporate income tax (not from the taxable base!).

In other words, you can choose to give that money to the Romanian State, in March 2017, or you can give it to whoever you want, this week. We chose to give it to the Inima Copiilor Association, this year as well.

If you find the idea interesting and want to donate 20% of your good, you can read more HERE.

So that next year we can also be proud of new achievements, but also to be able to continue donating to noble causes, we wish you, with love,
Happy (m)any years! 🙂
