The recent period has been a prosperous one for MKOR. November was the month when we delivered market research to clients, successfully completed a series of our own projects, and shared the results at industry events.
However, the most cherished event marking this recent period is MKOR Consulting’s 5th anniversary.
For 5 years, we have been developing and delivering all types of research that a business needs to conduct in order to evolve. We love what we do and put a lot of heart into everything, and this is reflected externally as well.
Below, we present the events where we delivered results, but also smiles.
- Country Brand Ambassadors
- The Leader’s Profile presented at Zilele Biz
- MKOR was live on the business television channel Canal 33
Country Brand Ambassadors, awarded at the Wall-Street Gala
MKOR celebrated 5 years of existence through a market study
MKOR Consulting celebrated 5 years of existence in the most beautiful setting possible: as the main partner of the Wall-Street.ro Gala, an event that brought together hundreds of high-quality people. And how else could we celebrate than in our specific style, by publishing the results of a market study?
The study Ambassador Brands for Romania was conducted within Romanian diaspora communities and aimed to identify those brands that carry the country’s name abroad. We applauded, recognized their merits, and awarded those Romanian companies that managed, despite all obstacles and difficulties, to go abroad and successfully represent Romania.
During the gala, companies that manage to do business without borders were awarded as follows:
- The heaviest Romanian brand – Dacia (Dacia Renault Group)
- The sweetest Romanian brand – ROM Chocolate (Kandia Dulce)
- The brand with the most beautiful American-style story – Gusto Corn Puffs (Pheonixy SRL)
- The “most beautiful” Romanian brand abroad – Gerovital (Farmec)
- The most “dizzying” Romanian brand abroad – Cotnari (Cotnari)
- The best-known Romanian water abroad – Borsec (Romaqua Group)
- The oldest Romanian beer brand – Timișoreana (Ursus Breweries)
- The best-known Romanian food brand abroad – Bucegi Pâté and Sibiu Salami (Scandia Food)
- The most “leavened” brand in Romania – Boromir (Boromir)
- Special Award: The youngest Romanian brand in Silicon Valley – Qualitance
- Special Award for banking without borders: Banca Transilvania
The full award ceremony can be watched here.
Romanians in the diaspora – true ambassadors of Romania abroad
To follow a natural course, the Ambassador Brands for Romania study was a good opportunity to celebrate Romanians everywhere on the occasion of December 1st. Thus, our colleague – Luiza Coneac conducted an analysis of Romanian communities in the diaspora.
Pride and joy are the feelings that bloom in the hearts of Romanians in the diaspora when they have the opportunity to encounter a Romanian brand in their adopted countries.
Pride is also the reason why the Romanian diaspora represents true ambassadors for Romania: 61% of Romanians abroad would recommend Romanian product brands to their friends without hesitation, and 98% of them have urged their new acquaintances in their adopted countries to visit Romania.
The Leader’s Profile presented at Zilele Biz
Also last month (November this year), Corina Cimpoca, the founder of MKOR Consulting, spoke about the Leader’s Profile in Romania, in a generational analysis (Gen.X vs. Millennials), at Biz Days 2017.
Corina presented, for the first time, the results of the study “Portrait of a leader: Managers from Generation X vs Millennials”, which outlined the qualities of leaders and highlighted the main differences between leaders from Generation X and those from Generation Y.
One of the main conclusions of the study is that while Generation X managers are rather fair, Millennials are ambitious people.
Representatives of Generation Y, unlike their older coworkers, tend to put family life on the back burner.
If you weren’t in the room, you now have the opportunity to download the entire report here for free.
MKOR was live on the business television Canal 33
During the Business Woman show, Corina Cimpoca spoke about the Leader’s Profile in Romania with a focus on the differentiated analysis of the female leader vs. the male leader.
