This autumn brings new opportunities for young people who have business development plans.

We support and encourage such initiatives, aimed at supporting and developing a healthy entrepreneurial environment.

Members of the MKOR team are part of JCI Bucharest, an organization launching the Young Entrepreneurs program, intended for early-stage entrepreneurs or future entrepreneurs.

About Young Entrepreneurs

Young Entrepreneurs is a project by and about youth initiatives that want to make a difference through their businesses in their communities.

Through this project, JCI Bucharest aims to help young entrepreneurs who have a startup or just an idea to reach the path to success.

The Young Entrepreneurs program is an entrepreneurship school for those at the beginning of their journey, a business accelerator for those already launched, and even more – a mentoring program.

Benefits of the Young Entrepreneurs program

Young people who choose to participate in this program will gain know-how from experienced entrepreneurs and will be surrounded by people who support them in developing their business.

The JCI Young Entrepreneurs community is a platform for promoting participants’ products and services.

Essentially, people in the community will be the first to ensure that new businesses grow.

If the program sparks your curiosity but isn’t quite convincing enough, read the success stories here of former participants.

Participants in previous editions have progressed following their participation in the Program, as follows:

  • they validated development and growth ideas for their businesses;
  • many participants established business collaborations;
  • some partnered in new companies;
  • we periodically meet with colleagues and see turnover growth, expansions, and service diversifications.

Who is it for?

The program is addressed to:

  • those who already have a business, a product, a service, or several, and the business is in development, or
  • those who have a business, product, or service in the stage of a well-defined idea, validated or in the process of validation, which can be put into practice in the next 6 months.

What does the program consist of?

  • 7 training sessions focused on developing basic entrepreneurial skills;
  • 2 months of one-to-one mentoring with a successful entrepreneur or a manager;
  • Business Plans competition at the end of the program.

Mentors

After the 8 initial sessions, participants will meet with one of the program’s mentors, who will help them structure their business plan and identify business development opportunities.

The mentors involved are successful entrepreneurs or managers open to sharing their experience with program participants.
